What to expect before we meet

  • Scheduling: After we receive your completed forms, our intake coordinator will process them within a few business days and then contact you to schedule your first appointment.
  • Preparing: We offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to suit your needs and comfort level. Decide which option works best for you and let us know!

what to expect

At your first visit, consider...

  • Timing: Expect your first appointment to last around 60 minutes. 
This gives us ample time to thoroughly understand your needs and history.
  • Format: Choose between an in-person or telehealth (video or phone) 
session. We strive to accommodate your needs and preferences.
  • Discussion Points: During the session, we’ll talk about your medical and psychological history, current challenges, and your goals for therapy. 
It’s a comprehensive evaluation aimed at understanding the whole picture.
  • Evaluating Fit: Our provider will assess if Harmony is the best fit for your needs. If specialized care is needed elsewhere, we’ll guide you to the appropriate resources. Take this time to make sure Harmony feels right for you!
